Finally: Social Golf Networks Have Arrived!   by Angel Dewal

With social media so extremely popular these days, it was bound to happen: social media just for golfers! Is it any wonder, considering that there are millions of golf lovers all over the world? What better way to connect with them than through social golf networks!

What is a Social Golf Network Anyway?
A social golf network is an online community, connecting golfers and golf enthusiasts from around the world. Whether you live in Australia or Pakistan, if you love golf, you can find others who love it as much as you do. It is also a place to share stories, tips and ideas to improve your game, where some of the best courses are, and of course, the latest golf fashions too. Need some new equipment? You can find it here; want to sell some equipment? Chances are, there is a buyer that is more than willing than pay for what you’ve got. Golf networks aren’t just for posting your stories and stats; they are also a great place to forge lasting friendships.

Can’t I Just Find Golf Friends at My Golf Club?
Of course! There is no reason, though, that you can’t find new friends online. Maybe there is someone out there in your local area who doesn’t know many people and are shy about coming forward; perhaps they feel more comfortable on the internet. You can find them easily and meet with them for a coffee. You never know, they may become your greatest golfing buddy! Finding golfing friends both online and offline will expand your network in ways that you never imagined.

I Don’t Have Time for Online Golf Networks!
It is true that the internet can take up a lot of precious time. However, if you sneak a few minutes here and there to learn the latest tips, or post your stats from your last game, or reply to a few posts from fellow members, you’ll be active enough that you will certainly make new friends along the way. You don’t need to spend hours upon hours on the golf network; even a few minutes a couple of times a week will make a big difference, both in your social life and your game.

Okay, You’ve Convinced Me
